Halloween

For Halloween this year, I ventured out of my comfort zone and decided to sew Taylor's Sleeping Beauty costume. Almost immediately I found myself saying, "What was I thinking?" Since I haven't sewn anything of this caliber in about 15 years, it was quite the project. But I finished without having to un-pick too many times (thanks in part to my Mom). On Halloween night, Nate took the girls out Trick or Treating. They only went around our Circle and down one other street but they scored plenty of candy (maybe too much... as I'm still trying to get rid of it).

Pictures

I'm always trying to take the perfect picture of my girls. Wow, is it hard to get all three of them smiling and looking at the camera. This day I almost did it... but not. At least I got these cute pictures.

The Witches

In October we went to Gardiner Village to see the Witches. They have around 30 mannequin witches dressed up around the village. Taylor's preschool class went there for a field trip so I took the girls and we all looked for witches. Taylor had fun finding the different witches, Hailee was excited about the treats we got at the chocolate shop, and Ava was a bit apprehensive about the whole ordeal.

Taylor said she liked this witch the best.... can you see her?
